GAVIN’S STORY
On July 11, 2022, Gavin Knupp, a 14 year old boy from the small coastal town, Ocean Pines, Maryland, passed away following a tragic hit and run accident leaving his family, friends and the community grieving the loss of such an impactful young man. Gavin was an outdoor enthusiast who loved hunting, fishing, surfing and skateboarding. Above everything else he loved his sister, Summer. They were two peas in a pod, always inseparable and he looked at her as his hero. He will be remembered for his great sense of humor, his ability to light up a room and his exceptional character. He made friends everywhere he went and will be missed by everyone who knew him. Everyone who had the honor of knowing Gavin is better for doing so.

Gavin encouraged everyone around him to better themselves; whether you were playing sports, catching a wave or doing tricks at the skate park, Gavin was right beside you, pushing you to be your best. In his latest Instagram posts he always used the hashtag #doitfortheskateedit as he attempted new things.
